The word on everyone’s lips at the moment is CHOC.
This is a makeup range that champions empowerment and diversity and the brainchild of Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus.

She has devised a makeup brand that celebrates diversity and helps people feel good about themselves.
CHOC, is about self-care, which Cori says starts with self-love, says Cori: “It’s a brand that connects your authentic self with others. A brand for those tired of putting beauty standards above happiness.
“A brand for those who see others as just human. A brand that enables collective support to refuse a fear that was never deserved, so we can just embrace ourselves.
“CHOC is… Caring thoughts, products and support. CHOC is… Empowering self-love.”
Her company The Choc Factory is a movement reminding women that their flaws are what make them beautiful.
Cori has battled lupus and is a stroke survivor, who turned her adversity into opportunity. She told Pash magazine: I’ve struggled with asking God and myself, “Why me?” Why am I sick with lupus? Why was my baby in the NICU? Why did I have a stroke at 24? Why do my seasons feel so heavy while others seem to have it easier?
“But then I remind myself God calls me for a reason. I have a voice, a platform, and a testimony that can help others. My pain has purpose, my story has weight, and my impact is bigger than me. So instead of asking why me, I choose to say why not me?
We tried and tested the products and found them truly great.
They arrive in striking packaging, each product in delightful boxes like an advent calendar and create a lot of excitement, with positive messaging to make you feel good.

And when you open them, the products are great quality and that in itself is a reason to buy them. I loved the range of colours and especially the lip scrub and balm which keeps my lips soft and supple. The range of colours is wonderful and it is definitely a brand I will recommend to others.
But it is also about authenticity and keeping it real, raw, and relatable.
She said: “People connect to honesty. At the end of the day, we’re all human. Nobody’s perfect—and that’s the most authentic thing you can show.”
