Halloween in Monaco

By Donna Richardson

As the leaves turn and the air fills with excitement, Monaco is preparing for a spectacular Halloween celebration that promises fun and enchantment for all.

From now until early November, the Principality transforms into a playground of festive events that cater to families, food lovers, and night owls alike.

The streets are alive with vibrant decorations, especially in the iconic Casino Square, where glowing pumpkins and whimsical witch hats set a magical scene. Guests staying at hotels run by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer will be in for a treat with special trick-or-treat kits, complete with maps to help them collect sweets throughout the resort. Families will have plenty to keep them entertained.

On October 31st, the Mairie’s Halloween Party at Parc Princesse Antoinette invites little ghouls and goblins to join in the festivities from 2 PM to 6 PM. With mascots, games, and a costume contest, it’s a delightful way for the younger crowd to celebrate.

As the night falls, La Boîte de Jeux opens its doors for a free Halloween game night for children aged eight and up, while the Foire Attractions at Port Hercules offers thrilling rides and entertainment until midnight. Dining options are equally enticing, with places like Café de Paris Monte-Carlo and Marlow in Mareterra serving themed brunches that are perfect for those looking to indulge.

As the evening unfolds, the energy shifts to a more glamorous vibe at venues such as Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, Jimmy’z, and Sass Café. Each spot will host stylish costume parties, allowing guests to celebrate Halloween in true Monaco fashion. Whether you’re in search of family-friendly fun or a glamorous night out, Monaco’s Halloween festivities offer a little something for everyone, ensuring that this spooky season is unforgettable.
