Atlantis The Royal ranks No.4 globally, while Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab rises to No.15 – placing two Dubai hotels among the world’s top 15
Dubai’s luxury hospitality sector celebrated a landmark night on the international stage yesterday, as Atlantis The Royal was named the The World’s Best Beach Hotel at the live ceremony for The 50 Best Hotels 2026 in Paris. The resort also secured No.4 globally and The Best Hotel in the Middle East title, while Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab rose to No.15, placing two Dubai properties among the world’s top 15 hotels.
The awards, voted for by more than 800 independent hotel and travel experts, recognise leading hospitality experiences from around the world. This year’s results saw both Dubai properties climb the global ranking, further strengthening the city’s presence on the international hotel stage.
Rising two places from No.6 in 2025, Atlantis The Royal combines bold architecture on Palm Jumeirah with destination dining, exceptional wellness experiences and spectacular settings such as its Cloud 22 sky pool. The awards’ organisers highlighted its restaurants led by internationally renowned chefs, sea-facing accommodation and private pool suites, alongside a wellness offering incorporating locally inspired treatments.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab climbed five places from No.20, following its debut on the list last year. Its superyacht-inspired design, waterfront rooms and suites and distinctive dining concepts have quickly established it as a destination in its own right. The organisers highlighted the hotel’s intimate spaces and personal approach to hospitality, complemented by its three-level Talise Spa and marina setting.
The results place two distinctly different Dubai properties within the global top 15 – from the bold scale and destination experiences of Atlantis The Royal to the more intimate, yacht-inspired setting of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
