The British performance apparel and expedition travel brand Shackleton has launched its AW26 range of high-performance outdoor apparel, which combines polar-proven materials and design with elevated comfort, fit and style.
Shackleton is launching three new product categories for AW26: Franklin Jacket and Freemantle Gilet reimagine the fleece as the explorer’s choice with a luxurious 63% wool blend tuned for maximum comfort and breathable warmth with a smart, bomber fit inspired by classic Alpine designs; Knox Down Jacket is Shackleton’s first transitional, waterproof insulated jacket, seam-sealed and built with expedition-grade materials; and Palmer Softshell Trouser is its first foray into technical, multi-activity legwear with 4-way stretch, mountaineering gusset and C0 DWR (additional product details below).
Meanwhile, Shackleton’s best-selling durable down R-Series jackets and gilet are refreshed with bold new colours, and its first downhill-ski specific collection in the Fortuna Ski Range is expanding with the highly technical, expedition-evolved Fuchs Down Jacket. Haakon Tactical Parka, Shackleton’s tested-in-Antarctica pinnacle parka is new and improved for AW26, and the innovative Pilot Jacket, developed with Antarctic aviators for instantly adaptable warmth is refreshed in Sage. And Shackleton’s iconic knitwear is updated with new colours, including the made-in-Britain Hero lambswool sweater.

• ALL-NEW Knox Waterproof Down Jacket, £695 ($935) Black/ Sage – expedition performance in a travel-friendly package, all-new Knox combines a 2-Layer, soft-feel waterproof (20K hydrostatic head and RET 4.32 breathability) outer with intelligently body-mapped down insulation in the body and synthetic insulation in the arms for a premium twist on an outdoor wardrobe classic. Knox is loaded with protective expedition features such as the 3-way adjustable and stowable storm hood, magnetic front closure, storm cuffs and a C0 DWR. (Available 1st October.)
• ALL-NEW Palmer Softshell Trousers, £195 ($295) Black – Shackleton launches its first multi-activity legwear with this windproof, breathable softshell trouser built for technical versatility from the valley floor to the summit. Palmer can hike, climb and scale mountains with four-way stretch and a gusset designed for freedom of movement, a C0 DWR and a 50+ UPF rating. Combines with a base layer to perform down to -20°C or up to 25°C without one. (Available 8th October.)
• ALL-NEW Franklin Fleece Jacket, £325 ($490) Grey & ALL-NEW Freemantle Fleece Gilet, £265 ($400) Grey/ Moss – Shackleton’s first foray into fleece reimagines the category by returning to its original meaning: the wool coat of a sheep. Both styles offer the versatility of expedition-grade credentials alongside smart lines for everyday travel and recovery with a 63% recycled wool blend tuned for maximum comfort and warmth that doesn’t shed microplastics like regular synthetic fleece. • Pilot Jacket: New Colour, £995 ($1,500), Sage – with full-length side zips and 750-fill power goose down. Pilot was developed with Antarctic aviators to create seam-sealed waterproof outerwear that thrives in freezing, -20°C environments but can instantly adapt to warmer conditions as you step in from the cold, with a detachable stormproof hood. (Available from 8th October.)
• Haakon: New & Improved, £1,395 ($2,100) Black/ Navy – Shackleton’s pinnacle parka, tested in Antarctica and the brand’s most potent combination of expedition warmth and refined styling, with 3-layer fully seam-sealed, waterproof to 2,000mm HH and 100% recycled outer fabric insulated by 850-fill power RDS-certified goose down. (Available from 29th October.)
• Fuchs Down Jacket, £695 ($1,050) Black/ Navy/ Taupe – box-baffle construction and 800-fill power goose down jacket retains body heat down to -20°C with Heat Halo neck baffle for maximum warmth with minimum packable weight. Adaptable for the sub-zero ski resort or for static insulation on big mountain days, and climbing harness-compatible. Fuchs was developed from the Titan Challenger Expedition Down Jacket, which was refined over four seasons in Antarctica by Shackleton’s Polar Guide, Louis Rudd MBE. (Available now.)
• Hero Sweater: New Colour, £265 ($400) NEW Brown/ Brick – Shackleton’s most iconic knitwear, inspired by the favourite worn by Sir Ernest Shackleton and made in Britain from 100% Geelong Lambswool, chosen for supreme softness and warmth that rivals cashmere. (Available from 15th October.)
